Kathleen York House

Kathleen York House is an abstinence based residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation service for women who are working to overcome substance dependence problems

Kathleen York House  is one of the few services where women can live in with their children or baby, in a welcoming, safe and home-like atmosphere.

Operating since 1991, Kathleen York House is a small community-based service in Sydney’s inner west, started with the generous York bequest and funded by private donations, the Department of Health and Ageing, NSW Health and Sydney South West Area Health Service. Our wholistic program fosters active links with and reintegration into the local community.

Kathleen York House is run by the Alcohol and Drug Foundation of NSW, a not-for-profit organisation working to improve the Quality of life for people with problematic drug and alcohol use.
